Hospers Department
--Archie Cutland and bride arrived Tuesday eve, from
Wisconsin. The members of the Hospers tin pan band serenaded the bride and
groom and report an enjoyable time. We wish them a long and happy life,
while sailing down the river of life.

Fatal Accident
Word was received here at a late hour Monday night that Adam Henrich,
residing on the west line of Plymouth Township, had died from the result of an
accident in the afternoon.

It appears that Mr. Henrich was backing a wagon for some purpose, he being
on the ground in rear of the wagon. The horses backed up too far and crushed
him between the wagon and the wire fence. He died in a few hours afterwards. The
deceased has lived in this county nearly fifteen years and leaves a wife and
eight children, the oldest only 13, years of age. the family is almost
destituted as the 40 acres is heavily mortgaged. Le Mars Globe.

Sioux County Herald, Orange City, (Sioux), Iowa, 27 Dec 1888:
Jack Gainor of LeMars charged with the murder of Hamilton at that place a few weeks since will probably be lodged in the Sioux county jail for safe keeping Friday morning.
