John Emery, of Sherman, has 160 acres to corn and also 160 head of hogs to
consume it. He is going into stock, without any fooling, having only a
couple of weeks ago invested another $250 for this purpose. Will Reeves, a
neighbor of his, is also falling into line and is gradually paving the way
to become independent, by raising more stock.
