Pvt. Charles Dent of the army air force, has just enjoyed a
15-day furlough with his wife and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Dent, 1842 ½ Rockingham road, Davenport. He was en route to
Fresno, Calif., from Buckley Field, Denver, Colo., where he
received his basic training.
Before entering the service, Dec. 7, 1943, he was employed at
Hudsens airplane factory in Detroit, Mich., however, he was
a resident of Davenport.
