MAN REPORTED DEAD FOUND TO BE JUST DRUNK
When police were called to the Davenport side of the Crescent bridge Saturday afternoon to investigate a report that a man had fallen and was killed, Detective Quinn and Officer E. Schlueter went to answer the call. They found Albert Buergel, of Cook's Point, very much under the influence of liquor.
He had fallen from an embankment and was scratched and bruised. He was taken to the police headquarters and placed in a cell until he became sober.
