A DECREASE IN BIRTHS HERE
Only About Half As Many Reported This Month As Last.
Over Twice as Many Females Born as Males-Births Reported This Month.

     There has been a noticeable decrease in the number of births reported
at City Clerk Collin's office this month. Last month the number was double
that of August. This time also the number of females is over twice the
number of males, while last month the number of births of each sex was about
equal. The following are births which occurred this month and were reported
to Clerk Collins up to noon today:
