, Dec. 23 – Postmasters appointed: Little Rock, Lyon county, C.E. Davidson, vice Charles Wright, removed; Overton, Lee county, B.J. Fullenkamp, vice William Culligan, resigned; Woodlawn, Decatur county, Mellie Beaver, vice Mrs. Addie Fleming, resigned.
            Postoffice has been established at Plum Creek, Kossuth county, with Forgen Johnson as postmaster.
            Postmasters commissioned: Gustavus F. Peck, Algona; William B. Meano, Boone; James H. Dunlop, Clarinda; James F. Mentzgar, Knoxville ; Rilla Taylor, Guernsey .
            William B. Neubold of Farmington has been admitted to practice before the interior department.
            Alfred T. Allen of Perry has been approved as stenographer and typewriter in the interstate commerce commission office.
            Pensions have been issued to Iowans as follows:
