--We saw a curiosity the other day on the farm of E.C. MILL, one
mile north of town. Geo. MILL, a brother of E.C. has a large grey
mare that gave birth to twin mules the other day, and both are as
pert as jack rabbits. They will play with each other and kick
each other, and both look alike. They will be named 'Zipp' and
"Zipper'.-Ida Co. Pioneer.
--Uncle Isaac MILL received a fall at the home of his son-in-law,
F.M. McLAUGHLIN, last Friday afternoon. He was out in the yard
and in stepping up on the walk overestimated the strength of his
lame leg and fell over backward. He fell quite heavily and was
considerably shaken and bruised, and has not been able to get
about since without help. He is quite feeble and this slight
mishap lays him up again just when a person wants to get around
to find a cool spot.
--Elmer MILL is still obliged to use crutches in getting about as
a result of the runaway he and his mother were victims of a week
ago last Sunday. Mrs. MILL was bruised and hurt more than she
thot at the time and while not laid up gets around with
difficulty.
