Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Markley mourn the loss of their little
daughter, who died last Monday night, after an illness of several
weeks, which finally terminated in quick consumption. The funeral
was held yesterday from the family home northeast of town, and
the body was buried in the Schaller cemetery.
L. J. French has been at Cherokee this week, having been summoned
as a witness in the case of Lyman vs. Lyman, wherein Mrs. Lyman
is asking for a divorce and the custody of the two children.
