SWING BREAKS, GIRL IS INJURED
Maxine Ewin, 11, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ewin,
of 1519 S.E. Vale st., suffered severed back injuries and
possible fractured ribs Thursday night when she fell from a
swing. The girl was being pushed in the swing by playmates at
1523 S.E. Vale st., when the rope holding the swing to a tree
broke. Physicians at Broadlawns General hospital said Maxine’s
injuries were not serious.
