D. H. McKee, president of the Iowa Loan and Trust company, was
elected a director of the Des Moines Union Railway company at the
annual meeting last week. The other directors are B. B. Greer, J.
E. Taussig, J. H. Howell, R. E. Cotter, B. F. Van Vliet, John N.
Hughes. J. A. Wagner is continued as general manager and T. S.
Ford as auditor.
J. W. Slocum Named
J. W. Slocum, prominent druggist of Indianola, has been appointed
to the state pharmacy commission by Governor Kendall. He succeeds
Mr. Farr of Albia. The new appointee received his commission
Saturday.
