SAWYER - WATSON NUPTIALS
Wednesday, September 16th, Miss Alma Sawyer, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Sawyer of Humboldt and Clarence Watson of this place
were quietly married at Storm Lake.
The bride has visited here several times and by her pleasing
personality has made many friends who are glad to welcome her to
the community as a bride. She is a graduate of the Dakota City
high school and has all the qualities necessary for the making of
a happy home. The groom is well and most favorably known here,
having grown up in Des Moines township, his parents being Mr. and
Mrs. W. S. Watson. He is a graduate of Rolfe high school. For the
past few years Clarence has been farming for himself at the home
place north of Rolfe. He is a steady and ambitious young man,
well qualified to assume the responsibilities as the head of a
home.
After a short honeymoon the young couple will be at home on the
Watson farm in D. M. T. Their many friends of the locality are
indeed glad to welcome them and wish them many years of happiness
and prosperity.
