WHITNAH IS FOUND GUILTY
Fenton W. Whitnah was found guilty of manslaughter in
connection with the death of Charles Middaugh, a young man living
near Clarinda. Three other men indicted for manslaughter for
Middaugh’s death were acquitted. Middaugh was killed in a
row near the cemetery there early one Sunday morning last
October.
