Raymond Teefey Claimed By Death --  Heart Ailment Fatal to Car Salesman. 

John Cooper of this city was notified Tuesday of the death of his son-in-law, Raymond Teefey, a well known former resident of LeMars. Mr. Teefey died Tuesday afternoon in a hospital at Fort Dodge after a two weeks illness. He had been in indifferent health for several years, suffering from a heart ailment. 

Raymond Teefey was born at Anthon, Iowa, April 2, 1897, and came to LeMars when a boy with other members of the family. He was educated in the LeMars schools and grew up here. He was married to Miss Irene Cooper in 1922 and continued to live here until 1937 when he went to Fort Dodge to take a position as salesman for the Cutchall Motor company. For the past two years he was manager for the company. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and two daughters, Joanne and Margaret of Fort Dodge; his mother, Mrs. Mary Teefey, of South Sioux City, Neb.,; two sisters, Mrs. E. M. Gaspar, of Downey, Cal., and Mrs. Lee Kendall, of South Sioux City, Neb. Mr. Teefey was a member of the American Legion and will be honored with a military funeral. 

The funeral will be held this Friday morning at 9:30 at St. James church, Rev. Father L. J. Cooper officiating, and interment made in St. Joseph cemetery. The Wiltgen funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
