Annual election and installation of officers of the Wasmer Post, American Legion, was held Thursday. Carl Witt was elected as commander, First vice-commander is R. R. Schneider, Second vice-commander is Oliver Dobbert and adjutant is Dr. F. C. Bendixen. Clarence Langendorfer was named finance officer and Herman Rhodes takes the office of chaplain. The new historian is Rome Starzl, Charles Ewin was elected sergeant at arms.

The executive committee is composed of Jacob G. Koenig, Al Orban, Dr. W. L. Downing, Ed Willging, Gerd Grahlman and Clyde Marshall, who is automatically on the committee as past commander.
