Thos. Armagost, the auctioneer and Frank Hoese of Merrill had a
thrilling experience on Tuesday.  They were leaving Merrill to attend a
sale and by mistake took a horse and buggy they thought was theirs from
a hitching post.  The irate owner judged they were horse thieves and
quickly organized a posse and ran them down.  It took a lot of loud
talking all around to square matters.
