BUTLER - RANDALL At the residence of the bride's mother, on Thursday, April 12, 1894 Rev. J. E. snowden officiating, Mr. Harley Butler and Miss Gertrude Randall, all of LeMars. The young couple left the same evening for Sioux City, where they will make their future home.

P. A. Seaman was in Spirit Lake last week on a business trip.

Miss Mary Brown, of Missouri Valley, was a LeMars visitor last week.

Mrs. Wayland Treat has returned from her extended trip to Polo, Illinois.

Bert Hall, of Cherokee, was visiting with his friend, Sheldon Woodard, last week.

Mrs. Richards, of Beresford, S.D., is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. A. R. T. Dent.

Charles T. Neu is located Alton now and is engaged in the sale of Singer sewing machines.

Mrs. H. M. Sammis leaves today for a visit of several weeks with her parents at Hubbard, Iowa.

Mrs. F. W. Weenink, of Carnes, was in LeMars to attend the Miss Ellen Yaw concert last week.

C. B. Wright and wife returned from Chicago last week and are now at home in LeMars for the summer.

Rev. O. B. Chassell, of Whitewood, S.D., made a short visit to his brother of the Sentinel, last week.

Sheldon Eagle: Mrs. Henry Egert, is visiting in this city while her husband is in Minneapolis on business.

Dennis Burke returned last week from Dubuque, where he has been engaged in mining operations all winter.

A. W. Partridge went to Sac City this morning in the interest of the LeMars Building and Loan Association.

G. L. Taylor, the photographer and bicyclist formerly well known in LeMars, is now living in St. Louis.

Rev. I. N. Pardee is now associated with his son in the loan and brokerage business at Cortland, New York.

J. F. Varner and family, of Kingsley, stopped over in this city last Friday on their way home from a visit to Hawarden.

Frank Hixon is having great success on the road selling "Masterpieces of Modern Art." He went to Sioux City this morning.

State bank inspector McCarthy was in this city last week and inspected the two state banks. He reports their condition as excellent.

Mrs. Chas. Harker returned home Friday evening to Mineral Point, Wisconsin, after a weeks visit with the family of E. Richard's.

H. Bennett, insurance inspector for western Iowa, was in LeMars last week adjusting matters between business men and the companies.

James Stevens and Thomas Kinsman, who have been at Chas. Stevens, in Washington township, returned home to Plattville, Wisconsin, last night.
