~At Ireton, on Christmas evening, H. B. Smith to Miss Flora Cobb.
~At the residence of the bride’s parents in Black Hawk county, on Dec. 19,
1889, Neil McDougal to Hattie Thompson. The bride was one of Plymouth
county’s school teachers.
~At the residence of J. F. Varner in Kingsley, Iowa, Dec. 25, 1889, Byron H.
Cornish to Inez E. Barr, both of Kingsley.
~On Dec. 23, 1889, William W. Galbreath to Etta Middaugh.

DIED.
~At Kingsley, Iowa, Dec. 21, 1889, Charlotte M., wife of Mr. J.M. Moores,
aged 64 years.
~On December 24, at LeMars, of pneumonia, Mrs. Augustina Boom, aged 48
years.
~On Dec. 28, of consumption, Mrs. Henry VanDerHaar, aged 24 years.

~At LeMars, on the 31st December last, Mr. Otto G. Berner to Miss Annie
Durst, both of LeMars.

DIED.
~At Canton, on Thursday, Jan. 2, 1890, of cerebral meningitis, Nellie Hurd,
wife of Grant Mallory, aged 19 years. Mrs. Mallory was the daughter of the
Rev. A. Jamieson, who was pastor of the M. E. Church at LeMars some years
ago. She leaves a child six months old to the care of her sorrowing
relatives. The body was interred in the cemetery at LeMars on Sunday
afternoon last.
~In Fredonia township, Jan. 2nd, Earl, son of Wm. Collins, aged six years.
~In Lincoln township, on the 6th inst., John Stabe, aged 69 years.
~At the Grand Central Hotel, in LeMars, on the 5th inst., of malarial and
typhoid fever, John Aherin, aged 22 years.
