Error Corrected.
SENEY, IA., Dec. 13, 1887

It having been reported that T. J. Reeves ex-clerk, of Elgin township was
short in his book account to the amount of fifty-six dollars, we the
undersigned find on examining his books that his accounts are perfectly
straight and that the mistake was made by the President of the board who
thought his receipt called for $56.00 when it only called for 56 cents hence
the report, and we the undersigned feel it our duty to make this statement
in justice to T. J. Reeves.
