MRS. ARTHUR G. BAKER DIED YESTERDAY
Yesterday our citizens learned with sincere regret of the death of Mrs.
Arthur G. Baker of Vernon township. She gave birth to twin boys during the
morning and about noon she died. The funeral will probably be held
tomorrow. The maiden name of Mrs. Baker was May Alice Randall. About
twenty
years ago the family moved to this county and located in Vernon township.
Miss Randall was married to Arthur G. Baker September 1, 1897. She is
survived by her husband and several small children. Mr. and Mrs. Baker lost
two twin babies a number of years ago. Mrs. Baker was a most exemplary
Christian lady and had a wide circle of devoted friends. She was an
energetic and successful worker in social and religious affairs in the
community in which she lived and her death will be widely and sincerely
mourned.
