-- Edward E. Eaton married Marjorie Paul on July 17, 1936 at
Washington, Kansas; only daughter of the Paul's; son of Elmer
Eaton.
-- HUGHES: Dr. William Kerr ran a race with the stork, at 2
o'clock Tuesday morning. He was accompanied by Glen Thomas, who
drove the car about a mile, when they could not get through the
snow. Borrowing a team and bob-sled from J. H. Walker, they
continued to the E. J. Blakely home, where two men, with
lanterns, met them, and took them through the fields and drifts,
over fences, to the Tony Hughes' home, where a ten - pound boy
was born, soon after the doctor's arrival.
-- Darrell McCormick married Norma Detrick on Monday in Council
Bluffs; son of Frank Mc Cormick of Knox; both graduated from
Sidney High School; to farm west of Sidney
-- Mrs. Carrie Belle Polk married _?_ Holsclaw on Feb. 5, 1936 at
Rock Port
