Mrs. Shirley Quiggle
Mrs. Shirley Quiggle passed away Sunday evening, following a
brief illness. The funeral will be held this (Thursday) afternoon
at 2 o'clock, at the Congregational church, Rev. W. A. Wilkinson
having charge of the services. Interment will be made in the
Sibley cemetery. The loss of Mrs. Quiggle is one of exceptional
sadness. About ten days prior to her death, the first born
gladdened the home of Mr. and Mrs. Quiggle. The husband, as well
as the immediate relatives, are prostrated over the untimely
death of their loved one.
Mrs. Esther Reeves Quiggle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J.
Reeves, was born in Sibley, January 22, 1889. Almost her entire
life was spent in Sibley. She was a graduate of the Sibley high
school, and has been
one of our popular school teachers. She was married to the
husband who mourns her loss on June 16, 1915.
Aside from her parents, she leaves five brothers, George, of
Felton, Minn.; Clifford, of Los Angeles, California; Arthur, of
Torrington, Wyoming; Fred and Stanley of this city, all of whom,
with the exception of Clifford, are in the city.
