Reeves-Elder
Mr. Arthur B. Reeves and Miss Bertha Elder were united in
marriage at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J.
Reeves, Tuesday, at noon, Rev. W. A. Schwimley officiating. Only
the immediate relatives
witnessed the ceremony. Following congratulations a four course
luncheon was served, the Misses Blanche Russell of Sioux Falls,
and Miss Bessie Fitzsimmons of this city assisting in serving.
The happy couple
left on the afternoon train for Scottsbluff, Nebr., their future
home. The bride was beautiful in a gown of white and carried a
bouquet of roses. The groom wore the conventional black. The
bride is the daughter of Mrs. Nora Elder, and is one of our
highly esteemed young ladies. Since graduating from the Sibley
high school, she has successfully taught in the schools of this
county. The groom is one of Sibley's prominent young men. Of
recent years he has held a lucrative position with the United
States reclamation service, with headquarters at Mitchell, Nebr.
The Gazette joins their many friends in wishing these
estimable people continued success and happiness.
