Art Hindt, chief of the Sheldon Fire Department, issues a warning
to cars to keep at least 300 feet away from fire trucks in times
of fire call.
Richard Duistermans and Lorraine Koon have signed up for the
Citizens Military Training Camp.
The "Drug Addicts" will provide entertainment for the
winning team of the Commercial club, the "Joryities,"
after Chautauqua, at the Country Club. The committee is composed
of George Swenning, L.F. Johnson, Magrum Smith and C.G. Hofland.
Harry Farnsworth and George Miller will serve lunches at fairs
and other occasions until the close of the summer.

Four deaths were reported during the week. They included Marian
Schultz, who passed away on Thursday after several weeks illness;
Alice Cobb, 21, died June 14; Mrs. J. K. Smith, passed away at
Sioux Valley hospital Wednesday morning; and Mrs. Henry Rausch,
44, in failing health for a number of years, died at Spencer,
June 8.
