Nightwatch Perry got busy last Saturday night and counted the
number of automobiles and other rigs lined up on the streets and
alleys. There were 168 cars and 54 rigs.
Clemens and Mandercheids' orchestra furnished music for the
dancers at Sibley last week. Louis Burkle, Loran Kastrup, Ethel
Fiebig and Irene Palmer autoed to Sibley and attended the dance.
Mrs. C.C. McKellip and Mrs. W.R. Brock entertained Wednesday for
Mrs. H.A. Strong, who leaves in the near future for California.

Newman Lyle leaves Thursday for the state fair. Newman was the
fortunate boy from O'Brien county to win the trip to the state
fair with all expenses paid, by writing the prize essay,
"Why I Expect to be a Farmer."
The Merry Go Round enjoyed a theatre party Monday evening, given
in honor of mrs. C.P. Miller's birthday.
