Clifford Lane has joined the celebrated Ainsworth's Orchestra as
solo cornetist and will play with them during the summer season
at Arnolds Park.
B.T. Woods, Sr., has purchased Little Sam, the driving horse of
C.S. McLawry.
Trierwiller & Willstumpf, the popular north side butchers,
have purchased the interest of their competitor, Frank Myers.
The local militia company departed for Des Moines, where they
will go into camp at Camp Cummins at Fort Des Moines for eight
days. The company numbered forty and they were among the best
young men of the city. Following is the list of those who went.
