A meeting of the Iowa and South Dakota league of baseball clubs
was held at Joe Morton's law office in this city Thursday. The
home team has filed the following list of players: F.O. Jameson,
Charles E. white, George Klock, W.J. Tiley, Ferd Jarrott, Earl
Armstrong, Harry Moser, Henry Trobough, Dell Trobough, L.G.
Albertson, W.A. Edwards.
In the large barn at the fairgrounds, Harry Legget a gentlemanly
and well known trainer, has a nice string of horses that he is
preparing for the season's work. They are owned by Mr. Leggett,
Earl W. Brown, J.R. Mitchell, R.C. Bailey (Ireton), Coleman &
Hinman (Primghar), W.T. Ryan (Larchwood), H. Runger, Ralph Brown
(Sanborn), F.J. Kellar (Norfolk) and W.E. Benner.
