The names of Jackson Woods and B. Winchester should be added to
the list of veterans of the Harrison Campaign in 1840 who now
reside in Sheldon.
Mrs. T.B. Stringfeld entertained a small party of the elite of
Sheldon at her home on Evergreen Avenue last Saturday evening.
The most novel feature of this evening's entertainment was a
three round soap bubble contest.
Ella Sockerson has accepted the assistant principalship of the
Sheldon schools.
Capt. P.H. Heinkle, the genial cigar maker, has been appointed
Postmaster, to succeed Mr. Hartenbower.
