The official census shows a population in Sanborn of 1,144. Sanforn is the largest town in the Big Four.

The Rev. Mr. Dorward's resignation and his forthcoming removal from Sheldon to Pella, his new field of labor, was very much of a surprise to most members of his church ... To his patient industry more than to any other one agency is to be credited the splendid improvement which the erection of the Baptist church has made in our town.

The Children's Entertainment at the Methodist Church last Friday included numbers by Bettie Mitchell, Mary Cook, Minnie McMillian, Mary Butterfield, Effa Johnson, John Mitchell, John Grant, Willie Bailey, Lottie Smythe, Ethel Lamb, Irene Frisbee, Annie Berry, Gertie Riddell.

Our base ballists play the opening game of the season at Le Mars. The Club has been materially strengthened by the addition of Attorney Cullen.
