The Society of Friends, who are located seven miles north of Sheldon,
have an Evergreen Sabbath School. The officers are J.R. Cook,
superintendent; Miss Jennie Parott, secretary; Joshua Hadley,
Preston Barnett, Darious B. Cook and Elizabeth Gardner, teachers.
A jolly company gathered at the residence of Judge Morton last
Saturday evening, and watched the old year out and the new one
in.
