Mayor Wyman, at the last accounts, was at Newburyport, Mass. and
visiting with a sister of Mr. Parkins. He is in raptures over the
scenes of his youth in New England and writes that he felt like
hugging the old stone walls and kissing the stately elms, and no
doubt but for another object on which to bestow his affection he
would have given effect in substance to his feeling.
C.H. and H.W. Cottle are aobut to commence the erection of a
large two story building adjoining their furniture store, to be
used for the manufacturing and repairing of wagons, carriages,
etc.
