D.A.W. Perkins went to Sioux City with a team this week.
From our boys in the hills the O'Donnells are making twenty
dollars per day; H. Nash is at Fort Pierre building a warehouse
in which to store goods he and Teil ship to the hills; Al Howard
and Jas. L. Price are driving oxen for $35 per month; Tom Walters
is making three dollars per day mining; Waggoner Derby and
Schryock have taken claims near Rapid City; Sperry is at the
above city, but not at work.
