TICONIC NEWS.
(Too Late for Last Week)
The Sudden death of Mr. Harlow Erskin (sic) was unexpected by
neighbors and friends. The funeral services were held from the
Ticonic M. E. church Monday afternoon, and the burial took place
at the Grant cemtery.
Miss Anna Rasmussen was visiting friends in Center Tuesday.
Miss Amy West went to Sherwood with her sister, Mrs. Willie
earnest (sic).
Miss Mary Tomlinson was shopping in Onawa Saturday.
Miss Nora Lindgren, of Sioux City visited Miss Afina Rasmussen
over Sunday.
Mrs. Willie Ernest went back to her home in Sherwood on Tuesday.
Mrs. R.R. Smothers and daughter, Daisy were in Sioux City on
Monday.
Born to to Mr. and Mrs. Claude Miller, Jr., a daughter on Monday,
May 19.
Miss Martha Hargens and her sister, Rose Pringy, returned to Adel
Tuesday.
Mrs. Johns and son, Ira, visited Miss Elvira, who is at the
Carhart hospital at Mapleton.

WILLOW NEWS.
Minnie Millard spent Saturday and Sunday with her sister Meda.
Dr. Williams, of Woodbine made a professional call at Wm. Dicks
on Saturday.
J.H. Gallup shipped a car of cattle Monday that were fed on the
Willow.
Soren Wilson disposed of four loads of hogs Monday.
Greta Green has been quite poorly the past few weeks.
Nellie Shaw expected to leave on Saturday for her home in Morning
Side.
Mrs. R.C. Gorham drove out from Dunlap last Thursday to see her
sister Ora, who has much improved at this writing.
Anyone desiring information on up-to-date chicken coops inquire
of Ira Gorham.
Etta Hicks went home Sunday, after having spent several weeks at
the home of her brother, Sim.
Alex and Tingval Olson and families, visited their mother, Mrs.
Caroline Olson on Sunday.
Ed Millard and family were seen on the Willow Sunday.
Mrs. S.E. Bishop and daughter, Mrs. Maude McManus came up from
Omaha Thursday to be here (sic) Decoration Day.
