DEATHS.
Three funerals have taken place in this city since our
last issue.
Last Sunday afternoon the funeral services of Mrs. J. M. Boyle
(sic Boyles), who died last Friday at her home near Ticonic, was
held from the M. E. church, and the remains interred in Heisler
cemetery. She leaves a husband and seven small children.
Mrs. Sarah Smith, living northwest of town, passed away Monday
night, the immediate cause of her death being paralysis. The
funeral took place Wednesday from the M. E. church. She leaves an
aged husband who will make his future home at the Soldier’s
Home in Marshalltown, we understand.
The third was Mrs. L. E. Griffith, who resided on the Smith ranch
west of town, and who passed to the other world, Monday, leaving
a husband and large family of small children. The remains were
shipped to Logan for burial.
