Last Thursday at high noon occurred the marriage of Miss Esther
Jeffries to Fay Lansgdale of Charles City, at the home of the

steet. Rev. A. W. Altenbern of the Universalist church officiated
and Mr. Langburn's father from Center Point and the bride's
sister, Ellen Jeffries, attended the bridal party. Following the
cermony a bountiful wedding feast was served.
Mrs. Langsdale has spent most of her girlhood in Osage and has
many friends who will wish her and the young man of her choice a
happy wedded life.
The young people left on the afternoon train for a wedding trip.
Mr. Langsdale is traveling salesman for the Independent Baking
Co., of Davenport and impressed those who met him as a young man
of fine qualities. He gave two years of service to his country
during the war. The happy pair are now visiting his parents at
