YOUNG LIBERTY MOTHER IS DEAD.
Mrs. Fred G. Hill Passed Away Monday Morning at Rochester, After
Two Years of Suffering.
Mrs Fred G. Hill, late of Liberty township, just north of Little
Cedar, passed away Monday morning at the Mayo hospital at
Rochester, Minn. A couple of years ago Mrs. Hill became afflicted
with the dread tuberculosis and has suffered much pain and misery
since that time. Every effort was made to cure her and much of
the time she was away receiving treatment at sanitariums, but to
no avail. Becoming much worse a few weeks ago, she was taken to
Rochestar, where a minor operation was performed to afford her
some relief. Mrs. Hill was the daughter of the well-known Rev.
T.O. McMinn, a former Baptist pastor of the Little Cedar-Davis
charge. She leaves her husband and a little son, nearly 5 years
old.
JAKE WOLF HAS BOUGHT STACYVILLE BUTCHER SHOP
A deal was closed this week whereby J. P. Wolf of Osage, became
the owner of the City meat market, purchasing the same from
William Renz. The market has changed hands several times during
the course of the past two years. Mr. Wolf is not a stranger in
our town, and for that reason we may predict that his business
will be equal to the best in any town the size of Stacyville.
Here's hoping this estimable family will do well and make
Stacyville their permanent home. Stacyville Monitor.
