COMING EVENTS

Following are some of the important events which will take place in Mills County during the next few weeks.

Saturday, August 22nd., Chautauqua at Emerson.
Tuesday, 25th, Chautauqua opens in Glenwood.
Thursday, Aug. 27th., Chantauqua opens at Silver City, Iowa.
Thursday, September 3rd., Old Settlers’ and Home Coming opens at Pacific Junction to continue three days.
Tuesday, Sept. 8th, Picnic at Hastings by old Settlers of Fremont, Mills and Pottawattamie counties.
Setp. 16th,17th, and 18th, Mills County Old Soldiers Reunion at Silver City.

FAMILY REUNION

Mrs. S. Boyer and son, Mahlon Boyer went to Little Sioux, Iowa yesterday to be present at the Annual reunion of the Brilling family, which takes place there today. Mrs. Boyer was a Brilling before marriage. It has become quite a numerous family, and they have annual reunions, and they are held first one place, and then another, all the way from Wisconsin to Oklahoma.
