Glenwood, Mills Co., Iowa
September 21, 1911.
Papers have gone on record describing a deal whereby J. W.
Tillman disposes of the Randolph exchange in the independent
telephone system to O. C. Leidigh for a consideration of $20,
000. We understand that Mr.Tillman takes farm lands in Atchison
county, Missouri, in exchange. Some few weeks ago the Imogene
exchange was sold to Sim Utterback and this last deal leaves Mr.
Tilman with only the Sidney and Tabor lines, and these, it is
said, he has included in a trade now pending, for a large track
of land in the Texas gulf coast country.
