OBITUARY
Richard Rose
Died, at his home three miles southeast of Attica, Wednesday,
April 7, Richard Rose, of a complication of diseases brought on
by la grippe, aged 70 years. He leaves a wife, three sons, and
two daughters to mourn his loss. He was widely known and dearly
loved by all who knew him. He was one of Marion county's earliest
settlers, and for more that a quarter of a century he was a
soldier of the cross, and just before he died he spoke to friends
and neighbors and told them to meet him up yonder.
