McCLAIN REUNION HELD SUNDAY
The McClain reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. S.
McClain Sunday, Aug. 11, with thirty-two present. The day was
ideal after a light rain in the morning which kept some from
coming. Those present were Mrs. Nora Wilson and daughter Margaret
of Birmingham, Mrs. Ollie Akerman and Earl, Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Akerman of Ottumwa, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Evans of Fremont, Neb.;
Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Schreiner of Morovia, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Akerman and son, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Akerman of Oskaloosa, Mr. and
Mrs. Clay Stout and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rex McClain, Mrs. Vera
McDowell and Martha Louise, Mr. and Mrs. Asa McClain, Mr. and
Mrs. J. L. Akerman and sons Dwight and John L., Nellie McDowell,
Bertha and Robert all of Fremont. Everyone had a fine time.
