McClain Reunion In Ottumwa
The annual reunion of the McClain family was held Sunday in
Ottumwa at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Akerman. A Co-operative
dinner was enjoyed at noon and the afternoon was spent visiting.
Those attending included Mr. and Mrs. J. S. McClain, Mr. and Mrs.
Dean Stout and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Akerman and sons Edgar
and John L., Mrs. W. C. McDowell and daughter Bertha and son
Robert, Mrs. Vera McDowell and daughter Martha Louise and Mrs.
Ollie Akerman all of Fremont, Forrest Gearhart and daughters
Freda and Lenore of Centerville, Mrs. Nova Wilson and daughter
Margaret of Birmingham and Earl Akerman and Raymond Inman of
Ottumwa.
