James BREEDING, the 12 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. Charles BREEDING, of Winterset, broke his ankle in a fall from a barn on Labor Day.

Earl FARLOW sold his bakery, located in the Marvin Building to G. G. SWISHER, of Osceola.

Arthur GORDON completely redecorated the interior of the Madison county court room in Winterset, including new lighting fixtures.

Winterset students leaving for colleges of their choice are:
Margaret AIKINS; Alma BOYCE; Llyra PRICE; Robert VANCE; Lorna RIDEOUT and Flossie SHOEMAKER are going to Iowa State College.
Earl GARRETSON went to Iowa State Teachers College.
Muriel WILKINSON to Des Moines College.
Elizabeth CLARK; Doris JICKLING; Mildred LEINARD and Gertrude and Ruth SEIDLER are going to Drake University.
John HARTLEY is going to St. Louis University.
George BANCROFT; Ruth BOYCE; Fonda CREGER; Wayne DEITRICK; Mary Lee ROWE and Harold SMALLEY to Grinnel College.
