The Truro bank was reorganized this week with a board of directors composed of W. W. STEER, J. W. LIKENS, J. E. WALKER, W. O. CREGER, Benton JONES, J. C. REED, J. T. CREGER and Charles Reed.
Mrs. William GARRETT, a pioneer resident of Madison County, died last Monday at Fremont, Nebraska.
Burglars entered the Bovee Brother's Hardware store last Sunday night and obtained $150.00 in cash.
Efforts are being made to secure a free city delivery of mail in Winterset.
Charles ANDERSON, a young Scott township farmer, lost $2,000.00 in cash when a trunk in which he had the money stored caught fire and burned.
