C. B. FREEBORN sold his Penn Township farm, three miles from Earlham, for $185.00 per acre. It was the highest price on record for land in that vicinity.

The Winterset School Board prescribed that the cap and gown would be traditional garb for the W.H.S. graduating class hereafter.

Among the Winterset college students who were home for the holidays were:
Joe ZELLER; Levi TERRELL; Beatrice and Florence JOECKEL; Byron STEELE; John TATE; Guy HAYS; Josephine WINTRODE; Ruth MCMILLEN; Anna GRISMER and Mabel HAWK.

Marriage licenses reported for this past week: Herbert DONALDSON and Florence NIBLO; Claude FUSON and Grace WILSON; V. M. ARCHER and Grace CLELAND; Clyde WILSON and Maude HAINES.
