Obit: Died at her home in Walnut Township, May 25th, 1906, Mrs. Mary (SUTHERLAND)REAGER, aged 78 years and 14 days. The deceased was born near Indianapolis, Indianaon May 21, 1828. In 1840, with her parents, she came to Iowa, settling in Des MoinesCounty, where she soon after lost both of her parents, but found a good home witha good Christian family. On the 7th day of October, 1852, at the home of NathanMASTERS, she was united in marriage with Isaac REAGER, her now bereaved husband, In October, 1853, with her husband, she came to Madison County and soon after settledon the place where she resided until her death. She leaves to mourn her loss besidesher husband, 2 sons and 3 daughters, 2 brothers and a sister. She was the motherof 8 children, 2 dying in infancy and 1 in young womanhood. She fell sweetly asleepat 2:30, Friday, May 25th. Her funeral was held from the M. E. Church at East Peruand her body was laid to rest in the East Peru Cemetery.

Truro: A number from here attended the funeral of Mrs. A.(Arthur) R. SIMMONS atEast Peru on Sunday (Mary C. WALES, burial at the Ebenezer Cemetery)

Invitations are out for the wedding of Miss Callie PERKINS and Mr. Hal H. MCNEIL,the wedding to take place on Wednesday, June 20th.

St. Charles: M. G. PATRICK, our station agent, was married on June 8th to Miss LouisaBANTA. The wedding took place at Des Moines, after which they visited a week atSwan, Iowa.

Scott Township: F. C. FARQUHAR was called to Audubon on Monday by the sudden deathof his father.

Lorimor: The H.G.L. Club gave a china shower on Tuesday evening in honor of MissMabel WILSON, whose marriage to Mr. John HART occurs on Thursday.

James HUSS, an old settler of Madison County, living in the northeast part of thecity, was taken suddenly ill while working in his garden this morning and passedaway in a very short time. His death is supposed to have been caused by apoplexy. Mr. HUSS was past 71 years of age and leaves an aged wife and a number of children.

The marriage of Miss Blanche V. BOWLSBY and Mr. Harry L. OLSON, was solomized onlast Wednesday evening, June 6th, at 6 o'clock, at the home of the bride's mother,Mrs. Maria BOWLSBY, of Worthington.
