The funeral of Mrs. James FRY was held Tuesday in the Friends Church, with Rev. John STRIBLING preaching the funeral sermon. Mrs. FRY had been sick for several months, she, being in poor health at the time of the death of her husband, James FRY, who died last winter. (both are buried at the Earlham Cemetery)

Mr. Andrew BISHOP, of Madison County and Mrs. Cora B. BROWN of Leslie, Iowa, were married at the home of Mr. & Mrs. J. J. LLOYD on Tuesday, March 31st. The groom is a brother of Mrs. LLOYD.

Mrs. Annon JAMES, better known as Rosa SILLIMAN, died at home in Scott Township on Thursday, March 26th. The funeral services were held on Saturday from the home, conducted by Rev. J. H. WHITE and the interment was in the Winterset Cemetery. The deceased was a sister of M. L. & Addison SILLIMAN and grew to womanhood in Scott Township.

Mrs. S. J. CARNAHAN, for many years a resident of Winterset, later of Stuart, was married a few weeks ago to Elder HOLCOMB of the Adventist Church and has gone to Storm Lake, (Iowa) to live.
