Married on Wednesday evening, October 29th, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Mary MCDONALD, of Jefferson Township, were Mr. Fred J. ALEXANDER and Miss Elsie MCDONALD, with Rev. Robert STURGEON officiating.

Born on Tuesday, October 28th, to Mr. & Mrs. Ernest LEINARD, of Lincoln Township, a daughter.

Harriet KNOX, of Earlham, was brought before the commissioners of the insane yesterday, adjudged insane and sent to the asylum at Clarinda today in charge of Sheriff BREEDING.

Mr. & Mrs. Sherm ROLLSTIN, of Scott Township, are rejoicing over the arrival of a son, born on Sunday, October 26th.

Wednesday, October 23rd, was the 90th anniversary of the birth of Mrs. Lena PERKEY, of Penn Township. She makes her home with her son, Isaac PIPER. Mrs. PERKEY was born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in 1812 and was among the early settlers of Holmes County, Ohio. In 1855, she came to Iowa and settled in Madison County. Mrs. W. J. HENERY, of Winterset, is a grand-daughter of Mrs. PERKEY, she with her husband's parents, Mr. & Mrs. W. C. HENERY, attended the pleasant celebration.

Webster Township: About 7 o'clock on Wednesday evening, October 15th, at the home of Mr. & Mrs. VANDEBURG witnessed the marriage of their daughter, Jennie, to Ray WILSON, with Rev. Moody YAGGY officiating.

St. Charles: Bert and Mrs. COOLEY of this city, are pleasantly engaged in forming the acquaintance of a nice baby girl, who came to their home on Saturday.
