A rousing boy has enlivened the home of Prof. & Mrs. LITTLE since last week.

Miss Amy HARRIS attempted suicide.

Born to Mr. & Mrs. Bud NORRIS, of Wells, on Tuesday, June 18th, a son.

William GROSSBECK, whom we mentioned last weed as being very low, died at his home in Union County. He was a native of Ohio, but had lived in Union County for 40 years and was well known in part of Madison County.

After a three week illness, little Grace LAMOS died Saturday night. The family came here from Marion County, last spring. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Baptist Church by Rev. HOUGHTON.

Mr. & Mrs. John MARDIS, of Des Moines, have a new son, born on June 22nd.

Mr. Frank STEWART, son of Mr. & Mrs. J. M. STEWART, who live just south of the Winterset city limits, was married at Afton, on Wednesday to Miss Grace CORNWELL of that place.

Born to George SIMPSON and wife, on June 22nd, a son

Born to Fred MURELL and wife, on June 24th, a daughter.

Born to Wes CHADRICK and wife, a daughter on June 22nd.

Miss Anna FOSTER, who has been in declining health for a year or more, was suddenly worse on Monday, with hemorrhage of the lungs. Dr. MAULSBY was immediately summoned, but she had passed the reach of human aid, and at 1:30 a.m., on Tuesday, God's finger touched her and she slept. The funeral was held on Wednesday at the Earllham Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. J. S. RODDY. Miss Anna FOSTER was 23 years of age, and was formerly a teacher in the Indian school at Genoa, Nance County, Nebraska, only leaving about one year ago on account of poor health. She leaves a father.
