Married by Rev. Fred HARRIS, on October 10th, Mr. E. W. VANDERWATER and Miss Camba E. BEVINGTON and Mr. C. E. ANDREWS and Miss Estella BEVINGTON, all of Adair County.

Mr. W. T. BARKER, who lived in the west part of town, on Green St., died last Monday, the 8th. The funeral services were held on Tuesday.

Miss Laura MCDONALD, of Douglas township, and William LEACH, of Jackson township, were married last Wednesday by Rev. F. HARRIS.

Andrew VOGEL, of Penn township, father of Mrs. William MANTHEL, of this city, died last week.

Divorces that were decreed last week to the following mismatched persons:
Mary J. MORRIS, from D. J. MORRIS; Maggie STILES, from Joseph STILES; Clara J. WILDER, from A. B. WILDER; Eliza NICHOLS, from Alvin NICHOLS; Clara E. CASSIDY, from W. W. CASSIDY; William J. MCQUIE, from Elzada M. MCQUIE.

Married on Saturday, October 6th, by Justice J. F. GUMP, at his office, were Joseph P. YOUNG and Anna HAMNER.

William BERNAU, a well known citizen of Jefferson township, died on Monday of this week and was buried on Wednesday.
