After months of illness, caused by a cancer in the head, Mrs. Ellis, sister of CaptainCooper, died Friday night. Singularly, Mrs. Ellis suffered very little from pain.

Mr. & Mrs. F. Fields lost their baby Saturday night after a long and severe illness.

Lin Conway and Miss Minnie L. Marley were married in Macksburg on September 18th,with Rev. J. W. Webb officiating.

The 47th anniversary of J. W. & Hannah Hardy, of Crawford Township on September13th.

James Pearson, living near Bear Creed, fell dead a few days ago.
