That smile on Frank WHITE'S face means there is a new boy at his home.

A young child of Mr. & Mrs. Wilson TERRY was buried a short time ago.

A new girl has made her appearance at L. B. MILLER'S last week.

Douglas Township: Mrs. CLINE was buried on the 8th of January. Mother CLINE was one of the first settlers of Douglas township. The body was followed by a very long procession to the Stringtown Cemetery, and then laid in its last resting place.

The Isaac PORTER'S have a boy at their house since January 18th, 9 1/2 pounds.

Mr. W. F. GEORGE, of Jackson township is dead. He has been ill and a great sufferer for a long time.

Mr. Levi PHILLIPS was buried at Penn Cemetery last week.

Last week with all of its cold weather, brought about two weddings, Mr.(Charles Albert) STANLEY and Miss (Margaret A.) Maggie WOLVERTON and also Mr. William STOCK and Miss Ida B. MILLER.

Died in Scott township, January 17th, Mrs. Margaret HARRIS. The deceased was born in North Carolina on July 4, 1794. She lived in Madison County about 27 years. She was buried at the (Beem) Beardsley cemetery on January 19th. She had been afflicted with cancer for a long time.

Mr. James HOLLINGSWORTH was buried last week. He lived with his son, N.(Nimrod) HOLLINGSWORTH. (burial was at the Peru Cemetery)
